Wishes in the Valley was created from the deep belief that hope can change everything. Over the years, we were involved in another community event that supported Make-A-Wish Maine, and we saw firsthand how powerful a wish can be — not just for the child, but for the entire family. The joy, relief, and togetherness that a wish brings is something you never forget.

When that event’s legacy came to a close, we knew in our hearts that the hope it inspired couldn’t end with it. That’s when Wishes in the Valley was born — a community celebration with food trucks, live music, raffles, and connection, all to help grant more wishes for local children facing life-threatening medical conditions.

It takes a tremendous amount of work from our board, volunteers, and supporters — but every effort is worth it when we see what these wishes provide to families in their hardest moments.

Giving back to our community is important to both of us, and this event allows us to do that while helping keep hope alive for children who truly need it. We are humbled and grateful to be part of something that brings joy, strength, and comfort right here in our own backyard.
